A Message from the President

Greetings TexTESOL IV members!

I am excited to be given the opportunity to be TexTESOL IV's president this year.  In addition, I am very pleased with the diversity of our board members' affiliations to different school districts, college systems, universities, and adult education programs.

Board members are already hard at work planning our 2010 Conference.  Discussions about a theme, date, location, keynote speaker, and strands are taking place among our dedicated and experienced board members.  We are doing our best to provide members with a full day of professional development opportunities which will be applicable to an array of ESOL situations.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you at our Conference on October 30, 2010.
