Nomination Guidelines
Nominations are being sought to recognize an outstanding TexTESOL IV member for the 2009-2010 academic year. He/She, along with the TexTESOLers selected from the other four regional affiliates, will be honored at the 2010 TexTESOL State Conference in San Antonio. A board member from the recipient’s affiliate will introduce and present the award.
Who is eligible?
TexTESOL IV member at the time of nomination.
Criteria
The nominators should consider the following factors:

Educator shows commitment to students and excellence in providing services in the ESOL field.

Educator continues to develop professionally.
-
Educator should be skillful in and dedicated to the profession.

The TexTESOL IV Executive Board will select the TexTESOLer of the Year at the July 31 board meeting.
Nomination Deadline

Recognition of Winner
The TexTESOLer will receive both complimentary registration to the regional conference on October 30, 2010 and the state conference and recognition at the Awards Luncheon on Saturday, November 13, 2010 in San Antonio. He/She will also be featured in the Fourth Estate, the TexTESOL IV newsletter.
